Church is more than something to attend; it is a place to belong.

We were not created to live in isolation; we were created for community. Citizens Church is committed to being a community with a shared vision for life.

Our community is formed in three ways: Sunday worship, Small Groups and Membership.

Sunday Gathering

We gather together on the Lord's Day to stir one another up to love and good works, to sit under the preaching of God's Word, to participate in Christ's ordinances, to pray, and to sing praise to God.

Small Group

The primary way Citizens Church promotes community is through Small Groups. This is where we develop our deepest friendships, receive regular encouragement, and where we disciple one another. Small Groups meet Wednesday and Thursday evenings to share a meal, study and apply the Bible, and pray for one another.

Membership

Although we tend to avoid commitment in our culture, it is only through commitment that we grow. To become a member of a church is to commit to its confession, practices, and people. Therefore, becoming a member means committing to being discipled and making disciples. We host a membership preview four times a year.
